Hello, I am just checking in, with the BEST FORUM on here!!!  i am 4 weeks out from surgery today, and I feel wonderful. I feel like I have not had surgery at all, and have felt this way over 2 weeks!!  As many of you know, I started this journey and had decided on the LAP-BAND, but after lots more research, and following the success of 1 particular person with the SLEEVE. I decided to go with the SLEEVE, and so far I think my decision has been validated, as so far My SLEEVE is working wonders.  I am down about 18 pounds in 4 weeks!!!!!

Lee, I want to say thank you for being an INSPIRATION FOR ME.  I watched your numbers closely, and I read all your posts... AND I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW, YOU ARE THE REASON I CHOSE THE SLEEVE.  So, for a lot of newbies, even though most of us have never met one another, but the information posted on the forums can be very informative, to the point where we become acquainted as though we do know one another.    I don't want you to feel as though if you have any problems you cant post them, you have to take the good with the bad.  AND I just want to say THANK YOU, LEE.

Congratulations on your success so far! Lee is one of the most awesome people I have ever "met". I have watched her closely since the very beginning of her journey. She has had to fight for every pound and she never ever gives up. She is definitely an inspiration and a great role-model to pre and post ops.

I had already decided on the sleeve when I found this board but Lee has been a BIG part of my journey ever since I came over here.  There are lots of others but Lee is a particular "angel" on this board and a big encouragement because I am not seeing results as fast as most of you but, in large part because of Lee, I will NOT give up and I will keep on working this tool.

Rachel, so glad to hear you are doing so well.

Kat, you are doing great!!!! 20 lbs since 9.23 is wonderful!!!!  Vertically challenged people sometimes lose weight more slowly. I should know!!!

I have to agree. Lee has been a HUGE inspiration to me. She has tenacity and never gives up. Have to admire that. Her weight loss may be slow, but she is definitely getting there.

Oh my good golly!  Rachel, you are a sweetheart.  I am so honored that anything that I said had an impact on your journey.  I am thrilled to think that I've helped you, or anyone else in any way.

You know, we just show up here and say our truth to help ourselves, and sometimes it helps another.  I have mentally wanted to throw in the towel a few times but our LW family has kept me on task and moving.

Rachel, you're doing great.  19 pounds is wonderful, but I think that feeling great really takes the proverbial cake because feeling great is what keeps us motivated.  I'm so happy that you love your Sleevie.

Thank you all for making me blush.
